Pomona Movers
Tucked in between the San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire, Pomona is 30 miles east of Los Angeles and 33 miles west of San Bernardino. In 1875, the city was named after Pomona, the ancient Roman goddess of fruit but it wasn’t until the 1920s that the city became known as the “Queen of the Citrus Belt”. The Pomona Valley Farmers’ Market happens every Saturday. One Saturday night each month, check out the live music, entertainment, food, and arts and crafts at revitalized downtown’s Pomona Night Out. Downtown’s Arts Colony is a mix of shops, galleries, and studios set against a backdrop of public murals and sculptures. Five times each year, you can sell, buy, barter, or just window shop at the Collectors Street Faire on Antique Row.
The city has over 20 historical landmarks and history lovers can immerse themselves in the La Casa Primera de Rancho San Jose, Ygnacio Palomares Adobe, RailGiants Train Museum, and Pomona Ebell Museum of History.
